How do you see images being transferred from an S-Video to composite adapter?

I recently got a video card that came with and S-Video to composite adapter and I want to hook one of my game systems up to my computer through it. How can I get the image to appear on my monitor? My monitor is a VGA. It connects to the graphics card port in the back of my computer. Next to it is the composite port that I'm plugging the adapter into right now. And I don't think this is relevant, but next to the composite on the other side is a VGA port. Thanks for any help!|||It really depends if the composite is an input or output. If it is an output, will have to convert your game system output to vga and plug it directly into the monitor or use a KVM to switch between the game system and your computer.

If it is an input, like for a capture card, you need some capture software to render on the screen what is being input.

Hope that makes sense.

Good Luck!
